Our Projects

terra nova farm

The Sharing Farm

The vegetables grown on the Terra Nova Sharing Farm 1.5 acres are donated to the Richmond Food Bank and other charitable organizations.

In 2007, most of the infrastructure work was completed to meet our goal to establish a permanent home. The following was accomplished: installation of a 30' x 50' greenhouse, construction of a potting shed, two 10' x 50' hoop houses, a kiosk, fences and gates; drainage improvements, installation of irrigation; and the planting of berry shrubs.

volunteers

Hundreds of volunteers helped in 2007. We had 46 different work parties with incredible community groups and corporations who signed up to help us. Thank you everyone!

In 2008 we will continue to benefit from a strong group of volunteers and community partners.
